As a transfer student who has taken more than enough english classes in the past five years, I was originally dreading taking another typical boring english class. However, when I found out the structure of the class and what we would be doing I was pleasantly surprised. What I enjoyed the most was the lenient deadlines and ability to do work on our own time, with no rather pointless lectures or classes. I think the approach towards the class is the perfect fit for an english class in college because it kids the freedom that they need. Likewise, the lenient deadlines allow for people to catch up when they are either busy or something pops up. I really liked the topic of art which I was originally skeptical about,...

Unfortunately I had a long week in regards to other classes and wasn't able to complete as much content as I would have wanted. However, I did find a great video documentary on Mac Miller on Youtube which included on my website and wrote a bit of an analysis piece about. I think the video aspect adds a good easy to follow piece that adds on to the introduction on him and will be interesting for its viewers. I plan to finish a lot in my remaining time and feel that I am still in a decent place, just need to grind to the end.

To begin I reviewed the comments on my previous process blogs to get motivated and see how I can work better and more efficiently. After that I went back to my website and made some cosmetic touch ups that would make the website look better and more complete. Finally I looked back at my notes from the week prior and began to write my piece Albums: A Short Analysis which looked at my 5 favorite Mac Miller albums and described each one. I reached my 4000 word count goal so I am feeling like I am in a good place for now. In the coming weeks I hope to add at least 3 to 4 more articles to complete the 6000 word count goal.

However, I still feel very confident in where I am. I've come to find that I really enjoy this project because the freedom allowed and it allows me to claim that listening to Mac Miller is considered schoolwork. In regards to my progress this week I spent close to 2 to 3 hours listening to some of my favorite Mac albums and ranking them based off a variety of categories. They're all so unique and good that it was a bit tough but I was able to finally get a set ranking and take notes on what I liked about each, taking a short analysis of a few. I plan to use this ranking to make a page about his albums, containing a short analysis for each. I was able to set up the page on my website and get some notes in which I plan to write in the upcoming weeks.

Last week I researched the album and spent a lot of time listening and forming my own opinions and reviews on the pieces. I created a subsection within my website and wrote down the key points of the article that I wanted to make. Now this week I compiled those thoughts together to complete the analysis and background of the mixtape.

I looked at lyrics, listened to a lot of Mac's music, did some research on the different stages of Mac's life. I came up with a general plan and took some notes to layout what would go where. I also did some editing to my website and made it a bit more visually pleasing. Overall, I'm pretty happy with where I am at and think that I will be able to create a good final project.

So, the past few weeks I've been trying to develop a game plan for what I want to include in my website and how I will do it. I've done research on a lot of his pieces and different stages in life, along with having a relatively large prior knowledge on him, so as a result I believe that I can piece together many varying pieces of text on him to cover his life story and display his art. This week I decided that the simplest way to begin filling my website with information about Mac Miller would be to write an introduction pie...
